Again, many reservations made for inexpensive discount airfares including motel and car rental are non-refundable and represent a potential loss if your travel plans need to be cancelled. Some will allow a change of plans under special circumstances with an additional charge. It is important how to book cheap airfare, because the dates of travel will have an effect on the price as choosing the busiest travel days of the week will result in higher fares.
